In a different place, a different time, I imagine this boys dad wearing the same red jacket.

Sitting at a high chair, waiting for his breakfast. His life set before him.

Who will he become?
Where will he travel? Who will he marry?

These questions are still left unanswered for my son, in this high chair, in this red jacket.

Will he love baseball?
Will he travel to Scotland?
Will I one day dance with him at his wedding in the mountains?
Will his son wear this same red jacket, in another place, and in another time.

For now I will allow the present to envelop me with dreams of what is yet to come.
